In addition to being an excellent musician and natural entertainer, John displays empathy with everyone he meets and knows how to create a strong rapport. The music provided seems to touch residents on a different level; faces light up, and hands begin to clap. I’ve seen residents who appeared to be asleep tapping their feet in time with John’s music, and others, usually hesitant to engage, suddenly spring up to sing and dance. Absolutely fantastic!
