After four years of delivering hugely successful "Singing for the Brain" sessions throughout the North East, music therapist John Casey launches a brand-new concept that is both dynamic and ground-breaking in the field of Music Therapy.

What we do...

SINGALONG with JOHN is a unique service which uses singing to bring dementia sufferers and their loved-ones together in a friendly and stimulating social environment.

John incorporates singing, humour and an element of theatricals to deliver highly effective group-sessions that are unparalleled in terms of group interaction and effectiveness.

Sessions are fun, relaxed and remarkably easy to follow, even for those with moderate to severe levels of dementia.

Singing isn’t just an enjoyable activity, it offers a "window of opportunity" for people with dementia to express themselves in a fun and supportive way.

Our aim is simple. To provide a fun and light-hearted afternoon/evening of reminiscence, laughter and song.  Our hope is that it delivers even more.

*Below are some of the many characters featured in our SINGALONG with JOHN sessions. Each one being representative of a particular era/period in time.
